Improving Lives. Strengthening Systems. Advancing National Health.
At the Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Program (MODHIP), impact is more than a metric — it is the lives saved, systems strengthened, and futures protected through science-driven, people-focused healthcare. Since inception, MODHIP has been at the forefront of Nigeria’s efforts to provide integrated, high-quality public health services for both military and civilian populations.
Through strategic partnerships, coordinated interventions, and unwavering commitment to service, MODHIP delivers measurable improvements across the country’s most critical health priorities.
MODHIP supports over 44 military-affiliated health facilities across Nigeria, providing essential care to:
Active-duty personnel and their families
Veterans and retirees
Vulnerable civilians in surrounding communities
Our programmes reach diverse populations with services ranging from HIV/AIDS treatment to emerging disease control — ensuring that no one is left behind, regardless of status or location.
