Commander Udoh is a licensed nurse and midwife with specialized peri-operative training.
She leads HIV prevention, maternal care, and OVC programs with strategic impact.

Prevention Officer

Commander Ndiana-Abasi Effiong Udoh is the staff officer, Prevention, in the Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme.

She is responsible for coordinating the Prevention activities across the Comprehensive and satellite sites of the Programme as well as the Ophans and Vulnerable children (OVC) activities.

She is also saddled with the responsibility of:
– Facilitating training for HIV Counselors
– Prevention of Mother – to – Child Transmission (PMTCT)
– Cervical Cancer screening
– Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) focal persons.

She officer is a Registered Nurse/Midwife and also a Peri–operative/theatre management Nurse.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (MAAUN) and she is a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
