Strengthening Nigeria’s Military and National Health Workforce Through Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership.

MODHIP’s Training & Capacity Building pillar exists to strengthen Nigeria’s military and national public health workforce. Our mission is to equip clinicians, laboratory scientists, counselors, pharmacists, data specialists, and program managers with the practical knowledge, skills, and confidence required to deliver high-quality HIV, TB, emerging infections, and general clinical services.

We provide comprehensive training through national centers of excellence, including:

  • Clinical Training & Research Centre (CTRC), Kaduna

  • Clinical Research Centre (CRC), Abuja

  • Defence Reference Laboratory (DRL), Abuja

Together, these institutions deliver specialized programs that combine classroom instruction, hands-on clinical mentorship, biosafety practice, and operational research experience.
