Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Abang Abuo hails from Ogoja local government Area of Cross River State. He attended Houdgbe North American University Benin Republic, he graduated with a bachelor’s in Health Information Management. He was commissioned into the Nigerian Army on 5 Dec 2009 as a member of Direct Regular Course 17. He has served in several military hospitals Health Information Management department as Head of Department and Administrative Officer at variuos facilities.
Lt Col Abuo attended the Nigerian Army College of Logistics as a member of Logistics Staff Course 19/22. He has attended variuos professional and management courses, conferences, workshops and seminars, both locally and internationally. Some of these includes Young Officers Course medical in 2012, Medical Intermediate Officers Course in 2020, Peace Support Operations Course in 2014. Additionally, The 14th International conference on Military medicine in 2013 and Management training at the Nigeria Institute of Management.
He is a member of the following professional bodies.

Abuo, has the following honours and Awards to his credit which include Forces Service Star, Command Medal, Passed Logistics Staff Course. He was appointed on 25 March 2024 as the Acting Deputy Director Administration MODHIP.
