This page outlines the process and rights available to all citizens seeking access to information held by the Ministry of Defence Health Implementation Programme.
As a government agency responsible for critical health initiatives, MODHIP upholds the highest standards of public disclosure while ensuring the protection of sensitive security, medical, and operational information. Under the FOI Act, every Nigerian has the right to request and receive non-restricted records from MODHIP. These may include:

To protect national security and personal privacy, the following categories of information are exempt from public release:
Classified military and defence-related materials
Personal medical or health information of clients and staff
Operational procedures that compromise national security
Sensitive research data or unapproved research findings
Confidential partner or donor information
Internal documents still under review or approval
